Dear tumblfolk,
Look, 1000 posts and two years all at the same time? That almost feels purposeful. (Hint: it was!) I started this blog with no goals, and let it take me where it did. It started with passive-aggressive posts of songs, reblogs of pictures, and a lot of frustration and sadness that I’d like to think has kind of subsided or something. In that time I’ve applied to colleges, got into a college, moved to Chicago, watched lots of movies, learned to knit, made resolutions, tried multiple long term projects, dropped said long term projects, got my email address hacked, etc, and you’ve been here.
Through these two years though, I’ve really felt that I’ve let this get away from me, and I’d kind of like to turn it back into a place where I post user generated content. I mean, not all user generated because I’m still going to post other things too. I mean. Just. I DON’T HAVE TO MAKE RULES, I’M JUST HERE TO TELL YOU WHERE I’LL BE BECAUSE I LIKE YOU GUYS. I don’t plan on it being a negative space, but I’m also not going to make any promises because sometimes the weather really bums me out and I’ll want to talk about it. Instead of being weird and vague I’m just going to post whatever, kind of like I did before people followed me. Why? Because I can and I want to.
So I’m moving.
Racquel, why don’t you just stay in the same place?
Because I have always liked the way it feels to have a change of scenery before making a change of spirit, so whatever.
I am going to leave this here though. It will look exactly the same, and will be at the url:
racquelthen.tumblr.com
But I’m moving to:
racquelcable.tumblr.com
Yes, I am aware that it is my old url, but I like that url and I do what I want so I’m keeping it.The great thing about me moving is that you don’t have to follow this new blog, I won’t know. If you’re thinking, “I don’t want just another ‘tumblr girl’ posting her feelings up on my dash!” don’t follow me, because on this blog, everyone has a right to my opinion and it will be all in your dash
So, I guess this is pretty unnecessary, but it’s a thing.

“I don’t really feel like running today,” she said, eating her feelings.

My sentiments exactly.

Half a tank of gas for night driving.
Navasota and back, only got lost once. -
The problem with making my own guac is that I don’t know if it’s good or not.
Because it still tastes like guac. -
My parents are having date night.
Did I make a pizza and put guacamole on it?
I DON’T KNOW MAYBE THIS IS WHY MY PARENTS GO ON MORE DATES THAN ME. -
My family ate without me, and when I came back from my run they had left a grilled salmon filet, broccoli, and an avocado.
When they came into the kitchen they found me making a sandwich with the broccoli, salmon, lettuce, tomato, guac (as made from the lone avocado), and sourdough bread.
“What are you doing?” they asked, “That’s weird.”
So I was all, “SORRY HATERS! I CAN’T HEAR YOU OVER THIS DELICIOUS SANDWICH.”
and they asked if I would eat in my room so that they could watch a movie.
